This instrument is specialized for test the content of Sulphuric Acid in the chrome plating solution, this method is simple and convenient, fast, with little error. The test result can be got within 10 minutes. There is no need to make working curve (direct reading and getting result). It is not necessary to confect standard solution, what’s more, two samples can be analysed one time. This instrument solves the shortage of titration complexometric titration and weight method (complexity, long time, may cause error), and it is good underservant in the process of chrome plating solution analysis.
Instruments:
1. Electric centrifugal machine(power 220V, 50HZ)
2. Two Sulphuric Acid measuring tubes, with plug, measuring range 0.2-5g/L.
3. Transfer liquor tubes (provide for yourself), one 20 millilitre tube, two 5 millilitre tubes.
Reagent proportion:
1. 3:1 hydrochloric acid solution: 3 cubage analytic pure hydrochloric acid mixed with 1 cubage distilled water.
2. 25% Barium Chloride solution: 25g analytic pure Barium Chloride dissolves in 75 millilitre distilled water.
Analysis Method:
Taking chrome plating solution and cooling to room temperature
(Please filtrate first if the solution is not clean). Picking up above solution 20 millilitre with transfer liquor tube and putting it into Sulphuric Acid measuring tube, adding 3:1 hydrochloric acid solution 5 hydrochloric acid solution by transfer liquor tube and shaking up them. Adding 5 millilitre 25% Barium Chloride solution, lidding the plug and shaking them up, putting measuring tube into centrifugal machine, lidding well the machine plug, setting the timer to 4 minutes and turn on the power supply. When the running stops, take out measuring tube and write down the numerical value, this is the content of Sulphuric Acid. For example, the numerical value is 2.2, then the content of Sulphuric Acid is2.2g/L.
Notice items:
1. The measuring instrument needs to be placed balanced
2. Please check if the switch is on the off place before getting through the power.
3. Time setting is not less than 4 minutes, 4-5 is also positive.
4. When electric centrifugal machine runs, you must put the same two Sulphuric Acid measuring tubes (with the same quantity solution) into the machine, if not; this may lose balance and shatter the electric centrifugal machine.
5. The absolute measure error doesn’t exceed±0.05g/L
6. The measuring instrument should match relevant measuring tubes. Our company is not responsible for the measuring accurate rate if you choose other electric centrifugal machine or centrifugal tube.
7. When the test finished, please clean the measuring tube in time and place the tube carefully.
